Showroom Design and
Organization
The problem in
almost all furniture stores, specially smaller ones is that the owners
want to display too many pieces in the showroom.
|
When I
came to this store for the first time, all tall pieces of the furniture have
been placed in the middle and relatively low sofas have been attached to
walls. With the help of few strong men, furniture started moving. On one
wall tall dining room cabinets started to define the dining room like settings in
between. On the opposite wall the tall bedroom dressers
defined the small cozy bedroom settings.

In the middle,
carefully chosen groups of sofas with coffee tables started to
remind us of good times with friends.
To make this middle area more interesting we used taller plants, floor lamps and tower glass shelving
units to brake the flatness.

Well,
after many hours we were very tired, but happy with the result.
