Exhibit Explanation
The web based research project requires that the students use
the Internet to find information about and produce a brochure
promoting a French speaking country (other than those in Africa).
The current events issues requires that students read about current events in foreign newspapers and other sources.
Rationale
The students use the web to connect to cultural information about countries around the world.
The newspapers and the other sources link the students to national and global communities.
