Introduction

This domain requires that the teacher work with and respect the diversity of members of the community, families and others to design P-12 learning environments.

School Improvement Committee/Plan

Exhibit Explanation

The SIP and the SIP committee involved all stakeholders in our community.

Rationale

While serving as chair of the school improvement committee, I have worked with business leaders, parents and others to design the school's learning environment. This was done with respect for diversity.

Self-Evaluation and Reflection

The exhibit shows the variety of members of the committee and the ways in which the school environment has changed.

State Plan and the committee member list

Validation of Student Learning

Student learning is validated through the increased efforts to improve writing and critical thinking and problem solving skills throughout the curriculum.
