Study groups are a central component to our school improvement
plan. There are two different types of groups to which each teacher is
a member: departmental and interdepartmental.
The domain introductions are a part of each domain section.
The primary focuses of my technology growth plan are self-reflection,
analysis and professional development.
Pre and Post-tests are used to analyze not only my students'
work, but also my teaching methods and materials.
Rationale
The study groups engage in reflection
and sharing of best practices. The professional development takes place
monthly as the groups meet.
The domain introductions show reflection
and analysis along with professional development.
My Technology Growth Plan has involved a great deal of
reflection that has led to personal professional development. It pointed
out several areas that I needed to improve. The plan is updated on a regular
basis.
Self-Evaluation and Reflection
The elements of this exhibit have resulted in much personal
growth this year. They are valuable tools and I plan to continue using
them.
