This domain expectation requires that the candidate place high expectations on students. Further, this domain also requires that the candidate recgonize cultural values and democratic principals.

Exhibit Explanation

This Webquest requires that students portray a citizen attending the Constitutional convention in 1787. They must decide if the person's values causes them to support the new Constitution.

Rationale

This exhibit directly addresses democratic and cultural values. The expectations for student learing are high, but the ability to work in groups keeps them realistic.

Self-Evaluation and Reflection

The project worked well, but it may be helpful to do it prior to introduction of the Articles of Confederation. This would save class time.
