Due to unexpected field restrictions, open-a division played Saturday only.  All other divisions played Sunday only.

Open division 1:
On Saturday, the 16-team D-1 played, with pool winners going directly to semifinals.  In one semi, WiPPs All Stars edged Brandeis 11-9.  BC gave Northeastern its closest game in the other semi, falling 13-7.  The Spoonheads moved the disc well for stretches and had chances to make things lots closer, but were too often unable to put it in the end zone.  Northeastern took finals 13-5 over WiPPs.

MIT won the 2nd bracket in a hard-fought game against BU.  Vassar beat Fordham in the 3rd bracket finals.  In the 4th bracket, Tufts B finished with victories over UMass B and Johnson & Wales.

Open division 2:
The 10-team D-2 on Sunday had pool play followed by finals for the pool winners and crossovers for each place in the pool.  Undefeated teams Cornell-B and Bentley met in a close championship game won by Cornell-B.  Bryant beat PC in the battle of the #2s.  Clark edged Yale-B in the #3 showdown, and Milton Academy played Harvard-B for dominance in the #5 spots.

Women's division:
Championship semis featured Vassar over UNH and Fordham over Smith.
Fordham Flying Jesuettes defeated Vassar Boxing Nuns 13-9 in finals.

In the lower bracket semis, Free Buddy beat Beacon HS and Brandeis Banshee beat Cornell-B White Roses.  Free Buddy over Brandeis in finals.

Coed division:
Championship semis were Bowdoin-A over Grassburner and Bates over RIUT.
In finals, Bates looked like it would overpower Bowdoin with fresh legs and took half at 7-4.  Bowdoin battled back with its women doing much of the work, to send the game into overtime at 12-12.  A Bates deep shot gave the team game point.  Bowdoin worked the disc to the goal line with a chance to take the game to double championship point, but the Bates D held, and a swing pass floated a bit out of reach.  Taking possession with a chance to win, Bates was patient for about a dozen passes, then launched a rocket into the end zone that the receiver somehow held onto for the score and the victory.  (Thanks to Joel for the game recap.)
