MAIN INFO
The tourney is Saturday only, October 30. It's an
open format tourney, which means anyone can play and there is no required
coed ratio.
This is definitely an optional tournament,
and we're planning on bringing a small team. If you need to catch up
on work this weekend, no problem. For those who go, it will be a
good chance to get a lot of PT and work on your game. Stonehill is
only about 15 minutes drive from Wheaton. Small
teams a great because you gel much more quickly and are forced to play
smart and conserve energy. If we have low numbers, Cape will
play.
It's an open tourney, so most of the other teams will be
all men. Our women are encouraged to play. Understand that
you'll have to match up with guys. Again this will force us to play
smart to compensate for possible height or speed mismatches.
It's a Hallowe'en tourney, so wear a costume if you like
(make sure it's something you can play in and are abe to wear a white
shirt over if necessary). We can talk about a team costume at
practice Wednesday. Stonehill is providing bagels, bananas, water
and Subway sandwiches for lunch.
TRAVEL DETAILS
Carpools will meet Saturday morning at Slype.
Meeting time to be announced (will be around 7:30 am). We'll stop
for breakfast on the way. Plan on being back by 6:30 pm or possibly
much earlier.
ROSTER
Email Nick ASAP if you want to go! And if you can
drive, tell him so.
