| 6/23/04 Let the trip begin! We left New Hampshire Monday morning for the 1st leg of the trip, Maine (pic page), New Brunswick & Nova Scotia Canada, then back to Maine to my brother Kevin's in Madawaska. As of this posting (8:30 pm Atlantic time, 7:30 pm Eastern), we are in Nova Scotia, Canada. All is well, and we are seeing a ton of lighthouses. Shoot us an email at any time from the home page . | 6/27/04 Friday we drove 9 hours from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia, Canada, then stayed at a lighthouse in Campballton, NS, Canada on Friday night!!! We stayed at a lighthouse! I can't wait to post the pics page! Saturday morning we arrived in Madawaska, Maine, USA!!! Finally the speed limit signs are in miles not kilometers! It's wild driving through Canada doing 110!...that's kilometers/hour (about 65 mph). We spent a great 2 full days here in Madawaska at my brother, Kevin's house and sister-in-law's Mona. Thanks for the hospitality, guys! We'll repay you when you visit us in Hawaii...AFTER September. So, tomorrow morning it's over the border again to Quebec for 2 days. We saw it in the winter, so it should be great to experience it in the summer, should be a bit warmer...we hope! I'll update after we return to the US late next week. Hope you have a great 4th! | 6/28/04 Well, I'm able to update sooner than I expected! 1st...Happy Birthday, Michelle!!! My soul mate is catching up! Can you guess her age? Email us your guesses! If you get it right, you get a personal email from her! Great Huh??? =0P We arrived in Quebec at around 2 today, checked in, then went right to the water falls named "Montmorency". Very cute! They have an internet station here, high speed no less...only two Canadian dollars for 30 minutes! Quite the deal! I can't upload pictures from this, and the wireless internet we can do is VERY slow, (14.4 if that means anything to you!) So, since we pay surcharges using the net with our phone minutes in Canada, I'll wait until we get back to the US next week. I know, I keep teasing the pictures...you KNOW they'd all be online if I could. Shoot us an email if you'd like, I'd love your feedback on the site! Take care! Keith |
