Isa 24:6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

This is pointing out another characteristic of the kingdom age. At least at the beginning of the 1000 years, Armageddon will have greatly reduced the world's population and especially men. With the destruction of the armies and all who are evil and who do wickedness, there will be far fewer men remaining alive as mortals on earth than there will be women survivors.

Isa 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

Here we read a reference to what happens when there are few men left on earth. There will be something missing for many women. Men can provide protection like shelter from the wind or a cover from a storm and provide as a river in a desert or provide shade from the sun.

1 Cor 7:2 Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

The ratio of women to men will make it very difficult for most women to follow this advice as marriage of one man to one woman would not be possible for every woman. The answer to the problem caused by a wide ratio of too few men to two many women are found in Isa 4:1.

Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

Here we are being told that it will be common for one man to have seven wives. Especially note the concern about having reproach taken away. If it will be a reproach in God's eyes for a woman to be living alone without a male partner, then there will no longer exist the woman's liberation movement in the Millennial Kingdom.

Ezek 16:38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

Here we read of what may be the reproach that will be for a single liberated woman in the Kingdom.

Ezek 23:48 Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

The world's population will adjust to what Christ wants in His Kingdom. The picture presented to us is the end of casual relationships on the singles scene. At the start of the 1000 year Kingdom, it is likely that there will be many men with up to seven wives. During the Kingdom, it is likely that the male to female ratio will eventually even out so multiple wives will become less common.
