Hello and welcome to Legion IIVX's website! We are a clan of America's Army! -Legion IIVX was founded on February 29, 2004 by hoplite and Octavian. Now, as any guest of any clan may be wondering, what's the name mean? Well, it's simple really, legion: n. a large military unit trained for combat. Now, IIVX: Roman numerals for the number 17. Now, if you have some knowledge of Roman numerals, your probably saying, "Hey idiots! Roman numeral 17 is XVII!" Well your right, but not back in the Roman times. The Romans spelled their numerals backwards from the way we do now. Plus, Legion XVII was taken by some other loser on geocities. So, there you go.
