| Super Saiyajin 2 - This is the second form of SSJ. Gohan was the first to reach this level when in battle with Cell. It is similar in which anger and rage triggers it. The hair sticks up and out more with small electric waves surrounding the body. SSJ 2 is much more powerful and faster than SSJ. | Super Saiyajin 3 - Quite different than the other levels, SSJ 3 can only be achieved through training. During the time when Goku trained in heaven (after the Cell Saga), Goku learned how to transform to the third level of SSJ. It's brings even more power and speed. The hair instead of straight up, hangs down and has no eyebrows. The only big weakness is it uses a lot of power meaning a saiyajin could only stay in this stage for a short period of time. | Golden Oozaru - Gold Oozaru is much more powerful than the regular Oozaru. It occurs when a Saiyan with a tail looks at the "full Earth" from the planet, Plant. | Mystic Saiyajin - This doesn't really fit in the SSJ catagory, but I thought some one might be interested in knowing this. This level has no noticeable characteristics. The hair, eyes and body all stay the same. This is different from all of the other SSJ levels because no anger is needed to reach this stage. When Gohan learned this from Dai Kaioshin, he never needed do go SSJ again. Gohan's power does not surpass the SSJ4 level, but it does come close. From the end of the Cell Games until Goku reaches SSJ4 in DBGT, Gohan is the strongest character in DBZ/GT (He doesn't like fighting, though, so he never really became too powerful). | Here is a summary of who is the Legendary Super Saiyan, if you rather read the whole article, click here. Throughout the story line of Dragonball you will find inconsistencies concerning this topic. The legend says only one person can become the Legendary Super Saiyan. When Goku first reached SSJ he was the only one supposedly able to do that. Later in the series, Vegeta and Trunks achieved this level. To correct this error, the writters injected Brolli as the true Legendary Super Saiyan. Then later Goku reached SSJ 3 that surpasses that level. To correct this error again, Dragonball GT introduced SSJ 4. Goku was the first to get to this level. Then Vegeta achieved this level by a device Bulma made. The fact is that the writters got caught up in so many definitions, they forgot to take in account things that were said in the past. Whatever your argument may be, the truth is that the writers screwed up! Also a lot of people wonder how to spell SSJ. It can be spelled Saiyajin, Saiya-jin, or just Saiyan.
