Well through out the DBZ world there was talk of the legend. That the Legendary Super Saiyan would appear every 1000 years and would have untold and unmatched power with no equal in the universe. In the Freeza saga Goku was pushed to the limit and turned into the Legendary Warrior, the Legendary Super Saiyan. When he did this, Freeza almost pissed his pants. Goku had a long tireless battle with Freeza, but in the end, Goku showed that he was only toying with Freeza the whole time. And after Freeza tried to kill Goku after Goku spared him, Goku then unleashed a blast of fury that easily defeated Freeza. Thinking Goku had died on Namek, Vegeta still had the ambission of becoming a Super Saiyan just as Goku had done. With Vegeta thinking Goku had died, Vegeta thought the legend may have died with Goku. After finding out Goku was still alive somewhere in space Vegeta set off to find Goku and find out his secret. This led Vegeta through the pointless time known as the Garlic Jr. saga. After Vegeta returned finding he could not find Goku, Vegeta was pretty mad. When the ki levels of Freeza and another unknown figure were sensed, they Z Warriors knew it could only be Freeza seeking his revenge on the Saiyan that nearly killed him and his family and friends. With all that power why hadn't Freeza been killed? He was chopped in half and his face was almost blown apart. With the approaching danger was Goku really the Legendary Super Saiyan? Why hadn't Freeza died? That still remained a mystery to the Z Warriors as Goku still hadn't returned. When Freeza arrived an unknown youth appeared and almost simmotanniously turned into a Legendary Warrior known as a Super Saiyan. The youth had no trouble killing Freeza and King Cold. He had done the immpossible at 17 years of age and had become stronger than Goku. He knew that Goku would be returning soon and he lead the others to the spot of his arrival. Now killing Freeza and King Cold so easily was this youth the Legendary Super Saiyan? Had he become what Goku hadn't? Where did he come from? So many question were unanswered and yet the youth revealed nothing. Hours later Goku arrived in a Ginyu Space Pod. The boy took Goku to another spot and tested him. They both went SSJ. Goku suprissingly matched all of the boys moves and showed that he became infinately stronger while he was away on the planet Yadrat. The boy proclaimed the truth and said he was able to go SSJ because he was Vegeta and Bulma's son from the future. His name was Trunks. The boy told about the future and gave Goku the heart medicine and left. They had three years to prepare villans that could tear a Super Saiyan to peices. Seeing 2 Super Saiyans, Vegeta was furious and set out to accomplish his goal and reach the level of SSJ. If Goku was the Legendary Super Saiyajin why were the androids stronger than him. Three years passed and Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan and had never become much stronger. The 2 androids they faced where almost nothing to what they where. But Goku had the virus and passed out. Through the android saga Vegeta went SSJ and a third Super Saiyan was found. But as Cell appeared Gohan went SSJ and the Super Saiyans went to the stage known as Ultra Super Saiyajin or USSJ. Goku proved to be the strongest person in this stage fighting Cell at the Cell games but still he was still weaker than Cell was. Then was Goku the Lengendary Super Saiyan? His son, Gohan, then stepped in and with the help of Android 16, he achieved his hidden anger and reached the next level of Super Saiyan (SSJ 2). He proved to be a worthy apponent for Cell and kicked his butt. After Goku died from Cell's self destruction, Cell came back even stronger, but he was still destroyed by Gohan. The 11 year old boy that had surpassed his father and every other Super Saiyan. 7 years passed and Gohan was 18 years old with a little brother named Goten. He put past issues behind and was now only a highschool student. With the new enemies arriving, Vegeta got his chance and became Majin Vegeta. He went SSJ 2 but yet he was stronger than most people at that stage. Was Vegeta now the Legendary Super Saiyan? Had he reached his mission after 10 long years of hard work and surpassed everyone. Fighting Fat Buu was not an easy task. Gohan and Vegeta were almost killed, so Goku went beyond SSJ 2 and went SSJ 3. Still only using a small percent of his power, Goku kicked Fat Buu's butt. But yet in SSJ 2 Goku could not match Vegeta in SSJ 2. Goku left back to heaven. Now becoming SSJ 3 was Goku the Legendary Super Saiyan? When Majin Buu surfaced, he matched Goku in SSJ 3. Because simply he could not use his full power because it took too much energy. Goku had used too much in the first place. After Goku destroyed Buu with the Chaou Genki Dama the fact still occured that he could not use his full power in SSJ 3 other wise he could have killed Majin Buu very easily. Goku was named the strongest and DBZ ended. 20 years passed and DBGT started the new Enemy Bebi appeared. Goku went SSJ 4 with the power of the light of the planet, Plant. Bebi also reached this stage. A battle went on and Goku finally finished him throwing him into the sun with a Kamehameha of some sort. Now being SSJ 4 was Goku the Legendary Super Saiyan? When Super 17 appeared Goku was beaten in SSJ 4 because Super 17 could absorb energy. But with a Ryuu Ken and 18's help Goku defeated him. When the Shenrons appeared, Goku and Vegeta both went SSJ 4 but they were no match against Li Shenron when he absorbed the dragonballs. They fused and became SSJ 4 Gogeta. But it lasted 20 minutes and they unfused. Goku made the Universal Genki Dama from all 4 galaxies and finished Li Shenron for good. Goku sacrifising himself again dissapeared with the real Shenron forever to ressurect all the people that had been killed. DBGT ended and Goku sadley was gone forever. With that DBGT ended and the mystery still went on. But I don't include Brolli because he was in the movies and they dont have anything to do with the series. The truth is...THE WRITERS SCREWED UP BIG TIME! So express your own opinions but I believe Goku is truly the Legendary Super Saiyan. |
