Valarie Ray Miller (Original Cindy)

Valarie Ray Miller is again back with Fox, but this time she has traded in a microphone and clipboard for some sexy stockings and a gristly attitude. Miller spent four seasons with the network as a host on In the Zone. Now as Max's best friend on the show, she is in on the action, not just talking about it.

The Fort Worth, Texas, native got her first big break when she appeared in a commercial for Radio Shack while still in high school. she was close to following a career as a standup comedian. Instead, when her laugh routine brought her to Los Angeles, she abandoned the stage and took to the camera. Miller worked as a host for a variety of television shows before earning the role on Dark Angel.

Valarie Rae Miller has made the leap from the squeaky-clean host of "One Saturday Morning" to what she calls "the spice of the show" on DARK ANGEL, playing Original Cindy, Max's (Jessica Alba) best friend and co-worker. DARK ANGEL marks the return of Miller to the FOX network; previously she was the host of the FOX pregame sports show, "In the Zone" for four seasons.

Prior to landing the role of Original Cindy, Miller hosted a variety of television programs, and she can currently be seen hosting the weekend morning show "One Saturday Morning." Miller began her hosting career after moving to Los Angeles following her college graduation, when she landed a job on PETV for the educational network Channel One.
