Links: Links or "Hyperlinks" are simply connections to another site on the World Wide Web. In Legal WebFront ^tm, links are either bolded text or a graphic. In most cases, the URL of the resource is included as well in a table. Just use your mouse to click on the graphic or URL address and you will be taken to that resource. [Make sure you are connected to the Internet.]

Navigation / Menu Bar: On the left side of every screen in Legal WebFront ^tm is our Menu Bar. This lets you jump to any location in Legal WebFront ^tm with one mouse click. The Legal WebFront ^tm Menu Bar is always there to help you. Also on the bottom of every screen in Legal WebFront ^tm is a text version of the menu bar. In addition, we have added other navigational guides throughout Legal WebFront ^tm, including hyperlinks to our general information categories on every page and easy to understand graphics to take you to other locations.

Forms: The forms in Legal WebFront ^tm are also very easy to use. At the bottom of every table of links in Legal WebFront ^tm is a search form. Simply put your cursor in the slot and type your search query or keywords and then click the "Search" button. For all other forms, you do the same; place your cursor in the first form entry slot and type your entry. You can use the TAB key to tab through other slots on the form.

When clicking a "Search" or "Submit" button on a form, click the button ONLY ONCE. It may take a minute or two to respond, but clicking more than once will cause an error. In addition, you can fill out forms offline, but once you click the "Search" or "Submit" button you will be prompted to connect.

Finally, all forms in Legal WebFront ^tm are SECURE. This means that the information you send through the forms are only going to one place and no one can view them online. Since Legal WebFront ^tm sits on your own personal computer instead of on the Internet itself, you are only transmitting information from your keyboard to the vendors represented by the forms. It is a one-to-one communication and is perfectly safe.

• Select "Edit" from the Netscape menu and then select "Preferences".
• You will see the section "Home page".
• Click the "Use Current Page" button so that file:///C|/lwf/index.htm appears in the slot OR manually enter file:///C|/lwf/index.htm in the slot.
• Click "OK".

Legal WebFront ^tm will now be your Home Page and this will be the first page you come to when you start up Netscape.

• Select "View" from the IE menu and then select "Options".
• You will see a new window with tabs.
• Click on the "Navigator" tab.
• Click the "Use Current" button so that file:///C|/lwf/index.htm appears in the slot OR manually enter file:///C|/lwf/index.htm in the slot.
• Click "OK".

Legal WebFront ^tm will now be your Start Page and this will be the first page you come to when you start up IE.

• Open Legal WebFront ^tm in Netscape;
• Select the Bookmarks icon and click "Add Bookmark";
• [OR you can select the Bookmark icon and click on "File Bookmark" and then click on one of the existing folders to have Legal WebFront ^tm in another location or category].

To go back to Legal WebFront ^tm, simply click the Bookmark icon and the link will be either at the bottom of your existing bookmarks or in the folder you selected above. Click on Legal WebFront ^tm and it will return to your browser.

• Open Legal WebFront ^tm in Internet Explorer;
• Select either the "Favorites" icon or "Favorites" on the IE menu;
• Then simply click on "Add to Favorites";
• This will bring up an "Add to Favorites" window. In this window, enter "Legal WebFront" or any other name you choose (one that you will remember) into the slot;
• [If you want to put the Favorite in a particular folder, click the "Create in" button and then select a folder or create a new folder];
• Click the "OK" button.

To go back to Legal WebFront ^tm, simply click either the "Favorites" icon or "Favorites" on the IE menu and slide your mouse to the name (and folder) you provided. Click on the name and Legal WebFront ^tm will then return to your browser for use.
