| Next, remove the rod and spring assembly from the slide. The spring is captured so you don't need to worry about it flying off and putting out yer eye, kid |

| Just pull the barrel out from inside the slide and you're ready to start cleaning after a day at the range. With practice, this can be done in total darkness in just a few seconds. Simply reverse the process to easily reassemble. |
