The mainstay of Final Fantasy IX, Zidane is a likable young man who is high-spirited and optimistic, always doing his best to keep morale high. He has a bit of a soft-spot for Garnet and has been described as being "not a jerk, like Squall" by Maki Yamane. "He's a player, or tries to be anyway..."
At the beginning of the game Zidane is only 16 years old and hs no recollection of his past (heard that somewhere before), but as the game goes on Zindae matures to become an adult and strives to discover his past. He also has a tail, I'm interested to know what that's all about.
Part of the 'Thief' class, Zidane possesses a Steal ability which can secure some of the best equipment in the game. Also he can use a tactic where he uses a diversionary ploy to attack the enemy from behind.
