Zed is as cut-throat in the boardroom as she is in any social situation. An assassin that worked for Alexander North, their relationship turned sour when North attempted to have her killed for not 'properly' following orders, and marrying a target, rather than killing him. Vincent was promptly disposed of after the wedding, which led to a great deal of speculation on his new bride, forcing her to tip her hat and bow out of the underworld scene. Unsure as to whether or not North would still be after her, she placed herself as firmly in the spotlight as possible and became a professional socialite. If there's someone to know, she knows them.
As such, she hosts many charity events, high society parties, and wine and cheese tasting that are often held at the Art Gallery and is well known within the community.
She has recently started free-lance work again, quietly, and knows of
Edward Warren through reputation. This is partially why she refuses to
host her gatherings anywhere but her home, the Plaza, or the Gallery.
