About Want to learn more? You've come to the right place! Everything you need to know to play the game is here and if you scroll to the bottom you're just one easy click away from joining! Synopsis The Grace Foundation is a spy role playing game inspired by shows such as 24, Alias, Spooks, and movies such as James Bond and the Bourne Series. It is set in London - although recruits to the Foundation come from all over the world and many missions take them out of the country and sometimes to other continents. The Grace Foundation is a privately run organization with no government ties. It tries to stay under the radar of governments but they know it exists on on occasion will work with them. In the end, they only answer to Edward. Recruits are by invitation only. Once they have accepted they must relocate to London where they are given a residence (protected by an alarm system that reports back to the Foundation's computer system). They go through rigorous training - weaponry, hand to hand combat, interrogation methods (both how to use them and how to resist them) as well as psychological evaluations to make sure that they can handle what is expected of them. The Grace Foundation's mission statement is to remove by any means necessary threats to the world's safety. They are dedicated to keeping the world safe - one criminal at a time... The game was created in November of 2008. To begin the following storyline starters are suggested: Rules First and foremost this game is for entertainment purposes only and is not meant to offend. As a special rule to this game I would ask that when people are creating crime syndicates or villains that they refrain from using real life terrorist/criminal groups. The baddies should be original as possible please! Now for the standard RPG rules: 1. In general, one liners are not allowed. Please try to put thoughts, feelings and descriptions into your posts. Although, occasionally, a one liner may be needed, if you are consistently using one liners, you will be asked not do so. If it continues, you will be moderated, 2. Posts made entirely of dialogue are frowned upon. Those who are following along may have trouble figuring out who is speaking if no reference to a character name is made in the post. 3. Try to use proper grammar and spelling in your posts. No one is perfect and you are not expected to be. But if your posts are not readable because of grammar and spelling mistakes, no one can reply to them. If you think you have a problem with these aspects, try writing your posts in a word processor (i.e: Microsoft Word) before transferring them to the list. 4. You write for your characters and your characters only. You are not allowed to control other player's characters. Simple movements are allowed (i.e: Gia smiled at Tyler, "Let's head to the pub for a quick bite to eat." The two began to walk) but you cannot do anything major (i.e.: Gia was surprised when Tyler grabbed a hold of the nearest woman and began kissing her). In the same vein, you can't move characters, if you want your characters to talk to them, move your character to where they are. (i.e.: If Gia is at The Foundation talking to Danny, she can't suddenly be at pub because Tyler wants to talk to her, Tyler has to go to her) 5. If you are planning to do something major with another character, please email the character's player to okay it with them first. It is not okay to do things such as kidnap, stab, shoot, etc another character without making sure it's alright with that character's player. If they don't want to, please respect that. And definitely seek permission before killing off a character! 6. This game relies on original characters and you are encouraged to make connections between characters. Just make sure that if you want to connect your character to one already in the game (i.e.: Nikolai's sister) make sure to email the character's player to see if it is alright. If they don't want to, please respect that. 7. Your character cannot read thoughts. You cannot have your character respond to what another character is thinking. (i.e.: Tyler shook his head. Gia was really being a brat tonight, he thought. "I'm not a brat!" Gia countered). Also no all knowing God like characters - your character doesn't know everything, no one does nor are they strongest being on the planet - everyone has weaknesses. 8. Please try to post at least once or twice a week. Please also not that if two weeks past without a post or word from you (i.e.: Going on vacation, sick, loss of computer) that your characters may be recast. If you know that you will not be able to post for awhile, please let the list or the owner know. There are some exceptions but if you are not just posting and holding up storylines, a new player will be found. 9. When writing your storylines, try not to whip through them at breakneck speed. What is the fun in having your characters being instantly in love or instantly cured? If you skip over the juicy middle (i.e.: Attraction, lust, and them finally giving into their characters feelings) you'll find that your storyline will get stale soon. 10. If your characters is in a scene with another and they haven't replied right away, you shouldn't repost the scene. It's common courtesy to wait at least two days for them to reply as real life is more important. If after two days, they haven't replied, you can repost. If they don't reply within a few more days, you can repost again or more the character elsewhere. Cast List

Try one of the following suggestions: Each bio contains details of characters that can be connected to existing characters (for example: Connor has an ex-wife, many have unnamed siblings) You are free to create one of them! The Foundation is looking for new recruits You can create an existing field agent, intelligence agent, medical staff (we could use a psychologist!) VILLAINS! A game like this is always in need of a bad guy or gal. Here's your chance to play someone totally evil.
