Sam was born and raised in
Newark, NJ. She had a fairly
normal and stable childhood, and was a happy child. She became interest
in psychology in high school during some vocational tests and followed
the field after high school. She graduated from NYU with a major in
Clinical Psychology
and a Masters in
Behavioral Psychology before being recruited by the CIA.
Sam never really thought of herself as a CIA agent but life not always
happened as planned. She was not a
field agent, though despite
having received proper training.
While working for the CIA, Sam pursued her PhD in Forensic Psychologist
and began to work as a Profiler for the CIA. On occasion, she worked
alongside other law enforcement agencies and it was during one of these
cases that Sam was introduced to the Grace Foundation. Over the course
of the next six months, Sam began to work more and more with operatives
of Grace Foundation and her transition to the Foundation as a full time
member ended up being a natural progression of her career.
Sam is with the Grace Foundation for almost three years now and she's
still somewhat adjusting to some of their methods. She has made a few
friends within the 'organization' and also developed a silly crush on
John Marshall but Sam doesn't dwell on it that much. She's there to do a
job after all, a job she loves.
Her life seems rather bland and boring compared to some of the other
members of the organizations and sometimes she wonders what it would
like to be a field operative but Sam often pushes aside any urges to
step over her safe boundaries when she observes some of the
interrogation sessions at the Foundation.
Sam is a determined and resilient young woman with a great passion for
what she does and a deep sense of justice. She's not prone to violence
and has a good heart but her temper flares when she is pushed to far.
