Background: Rocky was raised on a ranch in Lone Tree, Colorado, by his father Scott - a Navy Seal, and his mother Jean - a homemaker. He knew from the start that he was always well-loved. With his families military background, from day one it was always "Yes sir." and "No ma'am." He was not one for back talk and always did as he was asked. He grew up learning all sorts of training from his father, the ranch hands, and his uncle Alex.

Scott and Alex used to take Rocky out into the woods on the family property and train him in hand-to-hand combat as well as marksmanship. When the two would go off on tours of duty, Rocky would be left to work out on his own, mastering his skills. At these times it was his duty to not only train and run the ranch, but to protect his mother. No one ever truly came after them, but it was good training for him as his father thought. By the time he was fifteen, Rocky was an excellent marksman able to hit a target one hundred yards away. Scott and Alex saw great things in the military ahead for Rocky.

Rocky lost his father and uncle in a war overseas when he was eighteen. He took over his responsibilities fully with the ranch and continued to train every day. He never let up, though he had to put off his plans for the military. Then his mother told him about her cancer right before his 21 st birthday. He was heartbroken when she went on to tell him that it was end stage and the doctors could only do whatever it took to make sure she was comfortable. Less than six months later, he lost his mother as well.

With promises that the ranch would be well taken care of, Rocky headed to Los Angeles to join the Police Department. He had to get away as he put it. He became cold and distant, though was always under control when he was on duty. He never hit the alcohol, tending to remind himself that control was the key to moving on. He swiftly continued to move through the Department. He soon approached the Police Chief to see about volunteering to join the SWAT team.

By the time he was 23, Rocky was leading his own SWAT unit within the LAPD. He was highly successful when the Chief called him into his office for a sit down. The CIA Director had been watching Rocky closely, and had chosen him specifically for training as a field agent. When he arrived at the field office though, he was told differently. He was being asked to co-found and co-lead a new anti-terrorist group that would work completely undercover in Catalina. He would be allowed to have a hand in choosing his team, but his partner had already been chosen for him. He is currently awaiting his first mission to meet up with his partner so that they can form up their team.
