Rebecca has always had two loves in her life her parents and music. At
the age of 17 she had been offered a full ride scholarship to Julliard
and had already been offered a position with the FBI at their academy in
Washington, afraid to disappoint her parents she turned down music. She
roomed with Michelle Tolbert freshman year and then was drug away to the
Black Ops division where she acceded in profiling, martial arts and
kickboxing. She was a high ranking student when her parents introduced
her to Dylan Rayne a fellow recruit, soon the two were inseparable and
he proposed after graduation only to be caught with Nicole the day of
the wedding.
Hurt she left town for Paradise Resort to protect Catherine Wilkes. She
was content with her life until she was shot in the line of duty by
Thomas Grant; she spent 6 months at grad school
and in recovery until she was sent to Korea on assignment. While there
General Tai Lang kidnapped and imprisoned her team, when the CIA was
able to rescue them she was the only survivor, she left the FBI after
her 2 month imprisonment only to return a year later and finish her
Master's in Criminal Profiling. Nightmares have plagued her since are of
electrical shock torture, cane beatings, and rapes as well as stabbings
something that made her turn to profiling as her specialty and she as a
knack for doing interrogations that the Bureau would find questionable
or unethical. She retuned home and a year later her mother passed
sending her on a downward spiral of drug and alcohol abuse that
endangered her career.
When she found out that Vladmire was her father she was disgusted and
hurt that he did not want her. Entering into a relationship with Wesley
Carrington at the time she was shocked and hurt when his father told her
he was married angry she lashed out and hurt him in the worst way
possible sleeping with Chip Townsend and him catching her. She and Wes
stopped speaking after that and she asked to be re-assigned from
Chicago. Her relationship with her
biological father is still strained. Alone and in Washington, memories
plagued her of her capture in Korea as well as a forgotten love in Kai
Lang. She quickly began doing drugs again. Colin again found her in her
apartment overdosed and Colin forced her to rehab she went and when she
got out she went back to work at the FBI only this time as a liaison
between themselves and the Grace Foundation. Her interrogation skills
are questionable which is why the Bureau likes to use her as an alliance
with the Grace Foundation, she knows how to get the job done and for the
most part isn't against crossing lines to get what she needs.
