Connor was one of the first to be brought into the agency. Like Edward he once worked for the government but was persuaded to join the Grace Foundation after he was left to rot in an African prison. Edward found out about his existence and arranged for his release in exchange for three year of service (the number of years he had been in prison). When his three years had passed, Connor stayed on - now comfortable in working with Edward, David and Logan. He was trusted enough to train Anna, whom he flirted with but was rebuffed. He was also responsible for training Frankie - whom he is pleased with...if not a little wary of (although he would never admit it)
Connor was on a mission with Anna and Logan the day it was discovered that Logan was a double agent. After he tried to talk Logan into turning himself in, he and Anna had no choice but to subdue his former friend.
Currently, Connor is one of the top field agents. He works hard (hard enough to cost him his marriage), and hopes that this will pay off when Edward steps down...
