Anna was the first female recruited to the Foundation. She is highly intelligent and has an excellent track record.
When she first entered the Foundation she was a field agent. She worked closely with Connor and Logan. With Logan's help she became familiar with methods of interrogation. She was in Russia with Logan when word came that he was the mole in the Foundation. She and Connor were instructed to bring him in. She was torn - she trusted her friend and but she also knew that the mole had cost the Foundation lives. She wanted the person to pay. In the end, she followed her orders and managed to help capture Logan. She still feels uneasy about the whole situation.
The fall out of her friend's betrayal led to her requesting to head up the technology section. She was granted her request although she knew that Edward would eventually require her to go back as an active field agent. She has a few people under her and she hopes that this will help her in her bid to become acting director when Edward steps down.
Anna desperately wants to keep her personal life separate from her life as a spy. She is dating a man named Stephen Volger and has told him that she works for a computer firm. Being with Stephen is the one safe thing in her life and she hopes that her two lives never cross.
