Ajax “AJ” Allaire was born in Lexington, Kentucky USA and received a duel citizenship with Italy at a young age. It’s hard to imagine that a young man with a bright future, loving parents, and a younger sister who adores him could work for the enemy. He grew up never showing a sign that he had a bad bone in his body, and was more protective than anything else. AJ could have done anything with his life but choose to serve his country and joined the Marine Corps right out of high school.
After completing boot camp, AJ proceeded to go into Officer Candidate School where he entered their Scout Sniper training as well their Demolitions training. He was good at killing, too good, and his CO noticed it. AJ was clean and quick even in demolitions; he was able to create IED’s that left no trace of what it was made from or where it was placed. And his sniper work was top notch; AJ had a steady hand and a calm patient head, which was ideal for a solider. After his training AJ and his squad were shipped over to classified locations in Afghanistan and Iraq. His squad carried out many missions cleaning out terrorist groups and their associates.
Two years overseas carrying out several missions, was starting to get to AJ the need to kill someone was eating him up inside. He wasn’t a go in guns blazing, but more of the strategic type leaving no evidence and no witnesses. His CO noticed the slow developing change in the young Sergeant, and he didn’t want his promising life go up in flame because of a stupid or irrational mistake. Finally AJ’s constant lets go ‘kill the bastards’ attitude caused his CO to make a choice, either AJ leave the military after their tour or he was going to request his discharge.
AJ was pissed that he was going to have to leave the Marine’s, they were his life. There was no real reason that he had to leave, just that his CO could see something in his eyes that told him AJ could cause problems if provoked. AJ decided to leave the military after his tour knowing it would be easier to find a job that way, rather then someone discharged. But a job that suited an ex-Marine was hard to find. The longer he hung around jobless the more he wanted to get back out onto the frontlines, doing what he does best… kill. After a few months AJ couldn’t handle it anymore, he knew there was a market for hired killers especially in Europe. So he packed up his things and moved to Europe, telling his family he was being hired by some private companies as a security consultant.
He changed his name to Devon Williams a created a few other aliases, almost completely eliminating Ajax Allaire. The only time he’s ever used his real name was when he occasionally talked to his family. He knew they would have worried and made a scene if he didn’t check in now and again. And after two years of being an assassin for hire he got accustom to becoming other people to get the job done, making it easier to play the “good” son and brother his family believes him to be.
Over the years as an assassin he’s heard of the Grace Foundation from his contacts and realized his name was now in their system as someone they’d like to get their hands on for information. But he never sticks around in the same country for too long to actually let them catch him or get a good trace, let alone a picture. He’s most recently began to do some work for The Royal Reds, but his services are not limited to just doing jobs for them but whomever is willing to pay the cash.
