Most Amberites would know that Aldo's a merchant related to someone of their house who, until recent events, was more aligned with House Sonders and with a merchant family in Cochis than with House Amber, and still tends to think of matters in financial terms (profit, loss, the "bottom line," etc.) However, while he might be going over such matters or fiddling with a bag of coins when his hands or mind's not occupied, he actually is fairly religious. Those who ask, and those of the older generation who remember him, will know him as the acknowledged, though illegitimate, son of Caine, and if you really ask for his life story, he'll tell you...though he will charge by tale, but bill you later. (All bills delivered on the last day of the month, due on the first of the next month.)
