About Our Family

Well, I hope you are ready for a laugh. The first time I met Richard was at my boyfriend's house. Richard was friends with the guy. He came riding up on a three, wheel cycle, pulling a toilet home for his parents. It wasn't long after that I broke up with my boyfriend and started dating Richard. We would see each other on the weekends and he would visit me at my grandmothers a few times during the week days. We were happily married on July 10, 1991 and currently have 1 son and 2 daughters.

I became pregnant with our son, Richard Jr, who was born in January 1989. We didn't marry until July 1991. In that same year but in the month of November, our first daughter was born! Krystal was another little blessing. Then in September 1993, Jamie, our 3rd child but was born.

I have to admit when I first became a mother I was scared. I wanted to offer my son more chances for success than I had been given (and I had been given a lot!). I didn't want to fail him. As time passed, being a mother came naturally. I realized I was giving him all the chance to go forward and to grow strong. I try my best to be supportive of all 3 children. I want them to know whenever they need me Ill be there for them. I also show my husband that I'm here for him too! I try to help him in every way I can. Richard has been very good to me and has been very helpful. There are times when

I'm ill and can not do the things that need to be done. I have Epilepsy. Some of the medications I have to take make me very "silly" at times. Kind of a spaced out thing. Richard has been very supportive of me when I'm not feeling 100% myself. The children are old enough to help their dad out when mom isn't feeling so well. I have a wonderful family.
