About the Artist
My foray into Santa making began almost ten years ago. Intrigued by pictures of antique and reproduction Santas in popular magazines I was challenged to attempt my own Santa creation. Being a natural hoarder and scrounger, I had a fur coat on hand (originally destined to be a teddy bear) and the rest, they say, is history. My style has evolved over the years, but my continued interest in Santa making has allowed me to develop my artistry in a variety of media including clay, wood, paint and fibers.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University in Montreal and am currently living in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
