Handmade old world Santas are a specialty of the studio.  Each Santa's face is individually sculpted and painted.  High quality doll's eyes are used for added character.  The face and hands are sculpted using a self set modeling clay and then painted and antiqued for an aged appearance.

The bodies (armatures) are built up using a combination of wood, wire and fiberfill and are completely clothed.  Clothing is made from wools, velvets, brocades, tapestries and vintage furs. Boots are handmade in leather.   Each Santa is accompanied by a generous assortment of toys and greens.
