Sergei RACHMANINOV:

Humoresque and Serenade for four Celli and Piano
Nicolai RAKOV:
1908-1990

Haven't heard a lot, but he seems to write in a tuneful, conservative manner. Well worth listening to some of his music

"Dance of the White Girls," for Cello and Piano

Cello Sonata No.1

"Meditation," for Cello and Piano

Cello Sonata No.2
Nicolai ROSLAVETZ:

He is known as the Russian Schoenberg with some justification. He used his own system of "Synthetic chords" ala Scriabin, though taken a lot further. His music is more emotional than that of the second Viennese school.

Vladimir REBIKOV:
1866-1920

One of the first composers to employ such techniques as whole tone scales. Very fond of irregular time signiatures. (Such as 21/16!!) Unfortunately he lacked the skill to develop his vast numbers of new ideas.
