Find below some of the good friends I have met from the Bowsite. I have met quite a few people from the site and none have disappointed me. Some have become close friends and hunting partners. Everytime I have attended any Bowsite get together, I haven't been disappointed. I hope you enjoy this page as much as I did when I created it.

This is the clubhouse of the Baltimore Bowmen where the memories began for me

This gathering of Bowsite visitors began as an idea proposed by Balto-Bob. Through his efforts we formed a committee to see if his idea was feasable. After the first meeting it was decided that this could be done. So with a lot of work and effort by the committee and the dedication of the Bowsiters, I attended my first gathering. What a great and interesting gathering it was. I met quite o few Bowsiters and haven't regreted one moment since the first gathering. Enjoy some of the photos from the gathering.

Lex with his NWRSF - this was a management hunt. Does and fawns were legal with the kill permits. The deer population in this area is way out of kilter. This is a way to try and get the population in check to insure a healthy herd.

July Doe Hunt 1999

In many populated residential areas of the country there is an overpopulation of whitetail deer. In order to keep the herd healthy and in order to co-exist with the human population these herds have to be reduced in size to ensure their health and survival. So we are helping to do this by taking some of the does and fawns in this area at the request of the land owners and with kill permits issued by the state. The taking of does and fawns is legal and is a good way of reducing the herd. No Bucks may be taken on these kill permits.

This would be our gracious and most accomodating host and guide Clay Harrison (aka Spiderman).

This is a picture of the Monday group for the Spiderman July Doe Hunt 1999. Left to right areTroy Green, Jerry McComick(aka Bah Bah), Lee Bostic(aka Lee_Outdoors) and our host Clay Harrison (aka Spiderman)

Since the Texican Troy didn't shoot a doe on the morning hunt, we took a vote and elected him offical truck washer. As anyone who knows Spiderman knows, the truck must be spotless at all times.

This is Joe Volker (aka MD Joe) arriving for the Monday afternoon hunt in his new hunting vehicle and sporting a brand new camo pattern that has never been tried before. I especially like the new loafer style of hunting boots he has on.
