22.08.04 First American Dad update on TSS. (by Lee)

Okay, I'll update stuff to do with American Dad here and anymore news we get. I can tell you that the official American Dad website is up and it's pretty cool!!! More soon.

The Show: It's mainly about a man who works for the CIA called Stan, his wife (with a past of sex and drugs), his two kids an housebound Alien named Roger who sits around the house all day drinking and smoking cigarettes (which Stan came across one night) and (a pure example of Seths humor) a French-speaking Fish. (Which was a failed experiment by the CIA, they tried to put a French man's brain in a fish.)

Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman are ment to be lead writers. They are also doing another animated show for CNN. (Link below)

The pilot is due show this fall, meaning that the UK will see the show about 2 to 3 weeks later, and the Aussies' about 4 to 5 weeks later.

It seems like it is set that American Dad will be on Fox's list for 2004/05 season along with Family Guy. Tv Tome have reported that it has been said that it'll have a 9:30pm airing time. Seth MacFarlane, Laura Prepon* (Thats '70s Show), Dee Bradley Baker (The Fairly Oddparents), Wendy Schaal (Six Feet Under) and Ricky Blitt are all set for starring roles.

* Laura was signed to do the voice of Francine but was later changed to Seth's sister, who has done voices on Family Guy and can be heard doing voices in the Scooby Doo 2 Movie, Racheal MacFarlane.
