Entropy and Music

Entropy and music: measure how diverse the notes are in a piece of music.  Pieces written pandiatonically have low entropy since all notes generally lie within a given scale.  Notes written outside of the scale tend to modulate the piece and therefore have higher entropy.  It also tells if a piece is tonally "centered" or "disordered."
