(the lyrics in this song deal with suicide, and again, the maddening effect of love. loaded for bear has dedicated itself not to speaking about how love is or being heartbroken, but about dealing with socially relevant topics. therefore, this song, intermingled with its connotation of a lover and love, it mainly deals with the self-inflicted wounding and harm one does to themselves. we are here to say that hearbreak isn't the end of the world, and definitely not a reason to scar yourself, attempt suicide, or to commit suicide. it does nothing but bring about more heartache and leave empty souls. there are places you can go to get help and counseling and we have linked quite a few of them on this site in the links section. a sidenote to this song really is that relationships can be abusive, but accepting the abuse, whether it be physical or mental or emotional, does not show how much you love someone. it really goes to show how much you need help. feel free to talk to anyone in loaded for bear about your problems, we are always here to help.)
