Litmus Lowery                        Kraus Hauptmann
Litmus Lowery is a self taught musician with ten years playing experience. Although his main instrument is guitar, he also contributes on keyboards as well as many other instruments.  Litmus is the man whose original vision and perseverance was the genesis of the Lecherous Metro, and, with the help of longtime musical comrade, Kraus Hauptmann, was instrumental in starting and keep it going through it's early days and numerous personnel changes.
Lowery combines a traditional Blues-Rock style with "Outside" elements tossed in for added intrest.  Among his many influences he cites Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Robert Johnson, Robert Fripp, and David Gilmour to be his main sources of inspiration with The Metro.
Well known for utilizing whatever means available to get the job done, Mr. Lowery often obtains many unusual and provocative sounds from his instruments, and is considered to be a very unique player among his peers.  He states one of his main goals to be "To return Rock music to it's proper place as a living art form rather than a formulaic product spewed forth by corporate machinery".
