Chapter Two Forbidden Memories

Note: This story is on an all together different time line. Lucky is fifteen has
been living with Cassadines for ten years. I writing it because a friend of mind
and I were talking about what could bring Nik and Lucky together as friends.
Works been boring so my mind started wonder as you read that could be a bad
thing, but who cares right. The ones who say they are normal are the ones who
worry me.

Lucky opened the box and brought out all the letters and birthday cards he has
received over the years. Im only allowed to here from them on holidays and
birthdays. They never say too much, but they are all I have to link me to my
parents. And the way those two change their minds sometimes. I thought they
would be safer here, he said handing the letters and cards over to Stefan.

Stefan noticed that Luckys hands were trembling with fear and a little
apprehension. He took the letters and laid them gently down on the bolder.
Lets see more. Im curious of what you have hidden away and dont worry this
will stay between you, me, and Nikolas. Of course you can trust Alexis, he said
smiling at Lucky.

These are Letters I write to them. Telling them everything that has happened to
me over the past ten years. I started it about five years ago. I didnt remember
much from the early years but the others contain almost everything that is
important. Lucky stopped to see what Stefan would say or do. To his surprise,
Stefan just smiled and motioned him to go on. Remember when Stavros let me keep
one present from my parents on my eleventh birthday and I chose the figure of
Han Solo from Star Wars. He almost popped a blood vessel. He never understood
why? The reason was very simple. It was the one thing that reminded me of my
father. Han and Luke to me are a lot alike and one day, he will save me from
this place.  I know it. If I didnt believe that, there would be nothing for me
to live for. Lucky said laying the figure and the notebook down on the letters.
Lucky took out a small wooden box with a simple silver plate with Laura
engraved on top. He slowly ran his fingers across the top tracing each letter.
Nik gave me this about a month ago. He found it with a bunch of stuff that used
to belong to my mother when she was here. Stavros gave them to him and said he
could do with them as he saw fit. Nik picked a few keepsakes out and threw the
rest away. He thought I might like something that used to belong to her. I hide
it here because Im afraid of what Stavros would say if he knew I had it. Last
are those drawings. Most of them are of my mother. I know what she looks like
from the painting that Nik has. I have changed it around a little but it is
still her. The drawing you saw was the first time I ever tried my father. Lucky
sat down the box and waited for Stefans reaction.

Your wise to hid them here. Stavros and Helena would not understand any of this
and they would make you pay for think of you parents but unlike them I
understand. I even understand your wish about being saved by your father.  Maybe
someday it will come true. Until them we better get back its getting late and
supper not to long off and if we are late. We both have had it. Stefan said
placing items back into the box and closing the lid. Go get your other stuff and
Ill put this back. Then will head down. When Stefan was sure Lucky wasnt
looking. He opens the box and pulled out the notebook of the letters to his
parents and hid it under his topcoat.
