| Chapter Four Luke and Lucky spent the next few months in a vacuum. Their friends were worried and tired to do anything to get them out of it. Lucky went back to school or stayed most of the day. He was failing most of his classes and they were about to kick him out for that rest of the year. Lucky walked around Port Charles in a fog and didn�t talk much to anyone. Luke was as bad. He went to work but yelled so much at the employees and customers that Sonny sent him home early. He didn�t go home but got drunk most nights. Everyone realized something had to be done and fast or there would be two more graves on that hill. Bobbie took Lucky and Sonny handled Luke. They were going to try one more time to brake down the walls that they built. Bobbie found Lucky sitting by Lulu�s grave and joined him. �She would be upset with you right now,� Bobbie said. �What are you talking about?� Lucky demanded without any life in his voice. �They all would. You know how much stock Laura put in your education and your throwing it away. Lucky, they are dead and you can�t bring them back. You have mourned them long enough start living or start dying. Those are your only choices.� Bobbie said. �How can I start living when I feel guilty I�m alive?� Lucky asked tears starting to form. �Why guilty? Lucky, you did nothing to feel guilty about. Their deaths happened and that�s part of life. You just have to deal with it and gone. I know how you feel. I lost BJ and I want to die. It helped having Lucas and Tony. They got me through it. I know Luke has been as bad as you are and that isn�t helping. I do know Lulu would want you to enjoy life. You have a chance to do something for her now and that is live your life to fullest. She lost this chance and you have it. Don�t let her down.� Bobbie said. �You mean that? I�ll try but we have to get out of that house. I don�t go home any more. Mom and Lu are everywhere. I can�t sleep or eat. Bobbie can you help me talk dad into selling it. I tried but he just yells and storms out. We don�t talk much any more. I want my father back but I don�t know how to find him.� Lucky said. �That�s your problem? Lucky, why didn�t you talk to us?� Bobbie asked. �I over heard Edward talking at the wake. He said that maybe I should be taken from dad at least until he gets act straight. I was afraid you might do that. It would kill him if that happened. I can�t lose him to.� Lucky told her. �I will not do anything like that and Edward should keep his opinions to himself. I will help you talk to Luke but lets give Sonny a shot to soften him up, first.� Bobbie said and helped Lucky to his feet. �You hungry?� �I�m staved.� Lucky said. �Come on. Let�s go to Ruby�s and see what we get to eat.� Bobbie said and they headed down the hill. ~~~~~~~~~ Sonny finally found Luke in a dive just outside of town. The place was empty but the bar tender and owner. Sonny laid money on the bar and pointed to the door. The man grabbed the money and left. Luke grabbed for the bottle but Sonny stopped him. �You had enough. We need talk.� Sonny said and sat down putting the bottle on the other side of him. �I will say when I had enough.� Luke slurred out and grabbed for the bottle. Sonny was sober and moved faster then Luke. �You are a fool. You have a son and life but ignore it. I don�t have any of that. I have men that do any for me. I have money to get anything I want but I would change places with you in a second. You had seventeen years with a great woman and she gave you two great kids. Your son will give you grandchild to carry on your name. I don�t get any of that because of my life. Laura is gone and so is Lulu but you have Lucky and the memories of that life. Don�t throw it away.� Sonny begged. �I don�t know how. Laura was my life and now she gone. She was the one that kept me going. She gave me reasons to live. I just want to die and join her.� Luke cried. �And leave Lucky? You can�t do that because he needs you. He needs his father now more then ever. You said to me you would never abandon your children the way your father did you and Bobbie. Well, you have do it.� Sonny said. �I am still here.� Luke said getting some of his old fight back. �No. You�re not. Your never home, you don�t talk to him and I bet you don�t know where he is right now. Did you no they want to fail him and hold back next year. Lucky is falling a part and you don�t see it. You have done more damage to him now then you could if you beat him. At least he would know you saw him. Get your act together not for yourself but Lucky. If not, here.� Sonny said and placed a gun in front of Luke. �Use it and then we will put that kid back together some how.� Sonny got up and started to walk away. �Sonny, Wait. I want to come with you and maybe we can find my son. I think it is time we talked.� Luke said and tried to stand but failed. �Let�s get sober first and then we will find Lucky.� Sonny said and helped him to his feet. Sonny and Luke walked out of the bar and to the limo. Sonny called Ruby�s and told her if Bobbie showed up with Lucky to keep him over night. Luke was with Sonny and need time to get his mind clear before they talked. �You got to him?� Ruby asked. �Yes.� Sonny said. �Good or I was going to skin him alive for the away he has been acting.� Ruby said.
