Chapter Four

Lucky sat and listened to Lulu playing with her new swing set. He could smell the trees starting to turn. Autumn was had finally arrived. He spent all summer in the hospital and still hadn?t got his sight back. The doctors keep telling  him that it was going to take time.

Lizzie hadn't left his thoughts and the words Audrey said that day didn't either. She has tried to make trouble for the Spencers since that day. She even filled a Trudy report on him, but because of the accident there wasn?t anything to come of it. Lucky had learned to move around the house without too much trouble.

Lulu is always reminded to pick up after herself. Luke and Laura have tried to make things easier for him, but they aren't giving up hope. Luke has promised himself that no matter what! Lucky is going to see again. No one is thinking that this could be permanent.

"I feel his pain," said Monica.

"Yes. He is pain and not just from his injures. The pain runs deeper than that, said Tess.

"Is he my assignment?" Monica asked.

"Yes, Angle girl. The boy?s name is Lucky Spencer. He lost his best friend in that accident and now is blaming himself. He is also not handling his blindness.

I don't know. If he will ever see again, but that shouldn?t matter. His parents

are worse. They haven't dealt with any of the problems that were around before the accident. You?re to help him deal with that," Tess said.

"What about his parents?" Monica asked.

"Andrew is going to handle his father, and his mother most probable wouldn?t be to much trouble. She has tried to take about all of it, but neither of them are willing to talk." Tess answered.

"What are you going to do?" Monica asked.

"My assignment is the grandmother of his best friend. She blames Lucky for her granddaughter's death. I'm going to help her understand that it wasn't his fault and maybe she can help him heal." Tess said.

Foster was sitting by Lucky looking at the two angels but he suddenly got up and started to growl. They looked over at what got his attention. Helena Cassadine walked around the back and head strait for Lucky.

"Monica stay here." Tess said and then she vanished.

Monica looked at the new comer. Monica had met a lot of people but this was one first ones she would call evil. Helena had stopped besides Lucky. He was looking up at her asking. "Foster what is it?"

"Its only me." came Helena's voice.

Lucky tried to back away. He realized how helpless he was. Helena was near and he couldn't see her. He tried to hide his fear but failed.

She sat beside him and said. "Don't worry Lucky. I'm not going to hurt you.'

Monica looked at her in disbelief. 'Don't lie to him,"Monica said. "Tess! Where are you?"

Tess was in the Spencer house trying to project to Luke that something was wrong. 'Mr. Spencer. Your son is in danger. Go out and check on him." she whispered.

Luke had been going over the accounts from the bar. He gave up and went to check on Lucky and Lulu. He opened the back door and found Helena sitting next to his son. "Witch get away from son." Luke yelled walking down the steps.

"Luke darling! I was just seeing if you need anything. I know the pain of seeing your son hurt," she said venomously.

"Helena anything happens to Lucky and I?ll wipe this planet of Cassadines." Luke said walking strait up to her. Now get off my property before I have Foster rip you apart."

He said and if on cue Foster started growling and moved closer to her. Helena took the hint and walked away.

Come on Cowboy.Luke said helping Lucky to his feet. "Lunch is almost ready. So lets go inside. He yelled for Lulu to come in too and helped Lucky up the steps.

Tess. What just happened?" Monica asked.

The lady's name is Mrs. Helena Cassadine. Her and Mr. Spencer are mortal enemies. She blames him for the death of her son. She would have killed Lucky if it fit in to her plans. Monica, look out for her. She is evil and has no soul." Tess said.

"You better get going. Andrew is arriving and you're do to come a  little later. Good luck. "
