| Chapter Twenty Eight The group gathered to bring down Helena Cassadine at ten that night in the Spencer house. Sonny placed a call to his man and she was being watched right at this moment. When everyone was seated Luke started the things off, �We have to do two things and Mrs. Cassadine goes to the house with the many doors. One, get the ADA to reopen the case on Mrs. Katherine Bell and start a case on the train derailment this summer. Second, keep Lucky and Nikolas safe until the old bat is behind bars.� �I�ll handle Dara,� Alexis said. �She is my favorite person in the world and we have such a great relationship.� Alexis had a smile on her face that could be seen miles away. �You have her but remember we need her on our side this time and not against us. We want to put Mrs. Cass away for a long time not get off,� Luke warned Alexis. �My, Luke since when have I ever let you down?� Alexis asked him in a girlish grin. �I was sentence to jail for sixth months because of your big month,� Luke snarled at her. �Sonny. Can you and Jason make sure Mrs. Cassadine doesn't skip town? We don�t want her to wise to this plan just yet,� Luke said. Stefan spoke up, �I think the boys will be safer on Spoon Island until this is all over with. We can�t be surprised to much there.� �NO.� Luke said definitely. �Luke. Stefan is right. They would be safer on the island. Kermit and Caine can guard them better,� Laura pleaded. Luke looked at his wife and then the kids. �All right, but Kermit and Caine go with them or no deal,� Luke told Stefan. He also gave him a look that said. �You don�t push him.� Stefan agreed and Nik helped Lucky get his things ready. Laura had thought Lulu should go to and went to pack her a bag. Luke didn�t like the idea but he realized she was right. Spoon Island could be protected better then the house, but something wasn�t feeling right to him. Luke stopped Kermit and said, �Check out his men and make sure they don�t have a connection the Helena. I have a strange feeling about all of this.� �I�ll get right on it and don�t worry Lucky and Lulu will be safe with us,� Kermit said. He bent down and picked up Lulu. How had she became his best buddy? She was the only person in the world that got away calling him Kermit the frog and lived. He just couldn�t turn down a face like hers at all. Stefan watched as Nikolas helped Lucky into the car and hoped his mother got life in prison because to him death was just too easy. They drove back to the docks and got everyone settled. Lucky spent the next day walking around the house and getting his bearings. He even walked through the secret passages and found they were easier to handle then the stairway. Nikolas and Lulu were at the stables with Caine. Kermit was in Stefan�s study looking over the staff to check them out. Lucky walked into the living room and moved around it with very little trouble. He knocked into a table and a vase started to rock. Stefan caught it and said, �I think I�ll have Mrs. Landsbury take most of the breakables off the tables until you get this place down. Some of them have been in the family for centuries.� �You afraid of getting you antiques broken,� Lucky said with a cold tone of voice. �I didn�t mean it that way. You could get cut and Luke would have killed me,� Stefan said with a laugh to start over. �You�re lying,� Lucky said flatly. �How do you know?� Stefan asked him. �I hear it in your voice but don�t worry. I�ll stay out of your way and try not to break anything doing it,� Lucky started to move away but Stefan stopped him. �Lucky. We have to talk,� Stefan moved him to the couch and placed him in it. �About what?� Lucky asked getting even colder. �About us and Monica,� Stefan said. �You don�t give a damn about me and things don�t changed because I�m you son. I�m still the same person. Luke will always be my father and you can�t do anything about it. He raised me and I�m a Spencer. You just happened to help put me on this planet,� Lucky said every word dripping with venom. �Lucky listen to me,� Stefan begged. �No. You are hypocrite. You think I�m going to open my heart to man that wanted me dead. Your mother killed my best friend and even took my sight. Why should I listen to you? The only reason I�m here is because I promised someone that this war would end. I didn�t say I would open my heart to you,� Lucky tried to get up and get out of the room. Stefan watched him struggle finding his way and hated his mother even more. He did want Luke hurt but he never thought about taking his anger out on those kids. The longer he was around Lucky the more he wanted to help him. The problem was would Lucky let him. Stefan tried to think of ways to make Lucky�s life a little easier and went to the phone to get his people on finding information on the blind and how they live in today�s world.
