| Chapter Twenty Sonny walked into the Spencer�s living room and was greeted by Lulu. She ran up to him and jumped into his open arms. �Where is your mother at?� �Here, Sonny. I�m glad you stopped by what did Luke say?� she asked walking from the kitchen. �He said wait for Kermit and then we�ll decide. This information might get him out but we�ll have to wait. Justice is all ready preparing for the appeals just in case.� Sonny said putting Lulu down and walking into the living room. �When are they arriving?� Jason asked sitting down on the couch. �Late tonight. You will like Kermit. He is all right guy. I don�t know anything about Caine�s son Peter but I trust Kermit and that is enough for me.� Laura said. Laura invited the men for supper and the group sat around talking and trying to forget about the problem at hand. Sonny was watching the teenagers in the back yard playing with Lulu. Robin walked up and asked, �What�s wrong?� �Lucky is doing good but you can tell he misses Lizzie. I was thinking of away to help.� Sonny told her. �How about talking about Lilly that might help. You and him both lost someone and survived yourselves. The only thing different is he ended up blind.� Robin said. �I was thinking that but I didn�t know where to start.� Sonny said. �You�ll think of something. It isn�t the right time just yet.� she said and went back in to help Laura. Caine walked up and asked. �You are worried?� �Yes and not just about the Cassadines. I was where Lucky is right now. I felt guilty surveying the murder of my wife. I didn�t realize until I lost her how much I loved her. He is feeling the same pain.� Sonny said. �He will get through this but in his own time. All we can do is help him when it is need.� Caine said. �Luke is right. You are a strange character. I�m glad we are going to be on the same side.� Sonny told him. �So am I.� Caine replied. Kermit and Peter arrived at the Spencer�s house about eleven that night. Lucky was sitting on the porch listening to the night when the car pulled up. Foster didn�t react so it didn�t take much for him to know who it was. �Hi, Kermit.� Lucky said as they walked up to the porch. �Hi, Lucky. How did you do that? Has Caine worked his magic so soon?� Kermit asked. �No. Foster didn�t react to your arrival and we weren�t expecting any one else. Come on in. Everyone is in the living room.� Lucky said opening the front door and walking into the house. Kermit shook his head. Luke didn�t have to worry much, because if any one can survey blind. His son would do it with no problem. Peter walked into the Spencer living room and greeted his father. �Hi, Pop.� Caine looked at his son but didn�t say anything. Kermit walked up and greeted Laura. �Hello beautiful. Ready to dump your old man. I�ll take you any day,� he said. �Sorry, I�m used to my rogue. I would have to just start over and train you, too.� she said warmly greeting him. Sonny watched the two new comers. He didn�t know what to think of Kermit. This man wasn�t like any cop he ever met. Laura tuned to Sonny and Jason. �Kermit this is Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan. They are friends of Luke.� Kermit shook Sonny�s hand and knew from the information he got on the plane. Sonny and Jason ran the mob in Port Charles. He hopped Luke knew what he was doing getting involved with men like that. Jason played the tape. Lucky sat beside Nikolas who watched the group with confusion. He still felt a little out of place planning something against his own family, but he knew his grandmother wasn�t to be trusted. Peter looked up and asked. �How about the local police?� �Mac would listen but Taggert?� Sonny laughed. �He loved the idea of Luke sitting in jail and would think we made this tape up to get him out. We are going to need more proof.� �Sonny�s right. Taggert hates my father. He wouldn�t listen and Mac would just have to check into this himself and that would warn Helena.� Lucky spoke up. �We don�t want that. I have a plan to keep the Cassadines busy. Giving us enough time to get the goods on Mrs. Cassadine.� Kermit said walking over to Lucky�s laptop. �What are you up to?� Peter asked. �You are going to transfer to the Port Charles Police Department. Working on this case on the level. Your father and I will look after the Spencer family.� Kermit said. �I wasn�t asking that. What are you going to do to the Cassadines?� Peter asked as Kermit started to key in on the computer. �I�m just going to keep them busy with a little financial trouble.� Kermit said with a wicked smile. Lucky laughed. He knew from the last time he met Kermit that Kermit could move things around on the computer without any trouble. Nikolas leaned over and asked. �What is he doing?� �He is going to cause your father and grandmother a little financial set back.� Lucky said with a grin.
