What is Leased access?
Commercial Leased Access is your ticket to using Cable Television in a way never before possible. From airing an Infomercial to sell products or services, to airing a Pay Per View event on whatever scale you need (local, regional, national), now you or your company can be a programmer from as little as $1 per half hour. Most Leased Access today is used to air infomercial programming. Leased access is part of cable television deregulation and here's what it means to you as an advertiser:
- The only advertising with a "government
regulated" price, rather than a price based on supply and demand.
This means it is much less expensive, virtually pennies on the dollar.
- You'll be able to air programming virtually without
censorship. Leased access is the perfect means to start a direct response marketing program, even in markets where the cable system won't sell advertising time to you for competitive reasons, and especially in markets where advertising on TV would otherwise be too expensive!!
- It's available part-time (minimum 1/2 hour)
or full-time. So if you want to own an entire channel it is
possible. You can also use it for pay-per-view events!
- You can lock in your airing time, so you can promote
your show with your other advertising (i.e. see us on
channel 2 at 6PM tonight!)
