Be an inventor
Now it's your turn to be an inventor. You have two choices. You may make a paper airplane or make your own toy. You will also have to apply for a patent. You can get the application form from your teacher.
Airplane-Directions-You will be designing and making a paper airplane. You need to design and build an airplane which will travel a long distance. You must use an 8 X 11 piece of copy paper. There are links for paper airplane design on the Inventor's Links Page. There will be a contest for the airplane inventors.
Create a toy for a small child. Supplies from the art room will be provided for you. They include styrofoam plates, styrofoam packing foam, pipe cleaners, straws, beads, cardboard and other suitable objects. You may NOT use sharp objects. The Proto-4 committee will be choosing the most creative work!
