The leadership side of LEAP is dedicated to creating positive, enthusiastic leaders by developing their leadership skills. At our meetings, we hold debates and participate in activities that allow people to learn more about current events. To build student's skills, we are constantly sending them to conferences outside the school where they can practice public speaking and learn more about leadership.
The political action side of LEAP is devoted to raising awareness about important social and political issues that affect our school, our country and our world. The issues that we work on may change year to year, but our commitment to changing the world remains constant. The highlight of our year is Social Awareness Day, when we host an assembly and invite political groups from the community to come in and have a chance to interact with our students.
