Foregoing San Diego (though we would regret it later) Joshua Tree was our last stop in California.

Despite the unnatural 100 degree heat in October, we loved the monzogranite rock formations, that appeared as everything from arches to skulls.

But of course the best part about this park was the joshua trees themselves.  Branching and twisting in every direction, these trees came straight from a
Dr. Seuss novel.
