Tools & Material
a. leaf specimen (pick the one with contrast contour)
b. Cement
c. Water
d. A Box - shape container, which sized is big enough for the specimen
Procedure :
1. Prepare a container, cover the inside of the container with plastic sheet
2. Place leaf specimens firmly inside the plastic covered container, if necessary you can glue the leaf to the plastic surface.
3. Prepare the cement mixture with the right volume to fill the plastic container, by mixing the cement powder with water.
4. Pour the mixture to the container, which already has leaf specimen in it.
5. Wait for the cement to hardened.
6. After the cement is hardened, pull out the cement from the container by pulling out the plastic sheet.
7. Remove the plastic sheet from the cement
8. Remove the leaf specimen from the hardened cement (you can use water and brush to do this). You will see the "fossil" of the leaf printed in the cement surface.
