| Realistic Fiction Sophie's definition of "realistic" being that the book 1)has no magical elements (it may have really weird elements, such as being attacked by a 900 pound alligator, but nothing caused by supernatural forces, delusional fairies, or wand-waving) 2)it takes place in semi-modern times; it could happen now. So if there's a book which you think is realistic, yet they still use horse-drawn carriages and wear corsets, it would probably go under historical fiction... Listed alphabetically by author |
