| Sophie's Favorite Songs | |||||||||||
| Yes, it's a miracle, isn't it? Sophie has started to listen to the radio. And not just NPR, now. Actual pop music. Thank you, American Idol. I actually know some of the songs on the radio thanks to you. This is a list of some of my favorite songs. My favorite pop songs, mind you. It's not long yet, as I've only been listening to the radio for about a month...heh heh...This is the first time I've listened to it since third grade...I'm a sad little person... |

| A Moment Like This (Kelly Clarkson) I'm hopelessly addicted to American Idol. A Thousand Miles (Vaness Carlton) Why can I identify with all these love songs when I have no real love life, but nonexistent, extremely complicated melodrama created by my delusional, over-analytical, and impulsive mind???? Bad Day (Daniel Powter) I listen to this one over and over and over...I annoy my friends, not to mentione my little brother, to death. :-) Because of You (Kelly Clarkson) Behind These Hazel Eyes (Kelly Clarkson) It's so sad! I can kind of identify with it, as my "love life" is nothing but nonexistent melodrama created by my delusional mind. And somehow that melodrama ends up being quite complicated... Black Horse & the Cherry Tree (KT Tunstall) It's a completely nonsensical song, but I love it anyway! Breakaway (Kelly Clarkson) Very applicable to my life. Small town thing... Complicated (Avril Lavigne) Fall to Pieces (Avril Lavigne) Free Loop (Daniel Powter) Have A Nice Day (Bon Jovi) In the End (Linkin Park) I'd like it better if there was less "talking in rythm." Miss Independent (Kelly Clarkson) Unfortunately I've never been Miss Independent My Happy Ending-edited version (Avril Lavigne) *snort* All this time he was pretending...so much for my happy ending...(seriously, something similar just happened to me) My Immortal (Evanescence) Numb (Linkin Park) Ordinary Day (Vanessa Carlton) The Real Thing (Bo Bice) Are you seeing an American Idol related trend yet? Savin' Me (Nickelback) Since U Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson) This is great to listen to when you need to get anger out.... SK8R Boi (Avril Lavigne) Who can resist? Stay With You (Goo Goo Dolls) This song reminds me of the book Twilight... Something More (Sugarland) One of the few country songs I like. This is the Night (Clay Aiken) He totally should have won the second season of Idol...Where is Ruben Studdard, anyway? Didn't see him around much after he won. I love Clay. Of course, his new emo hair style is freaking me out a lot more than a little. I should stop before this turns into a screeching rant about my displeasure with Clay's new look...he's apparently working on a new CD *crosses fingers in hopes that it's good* Unwell (?) "I'm not crazy I'm just a little unwell..." perfect description of me. Who's it by? Unwritten (Natasha Bedingfield) I know, it's supposed to be a metaphor to life, but I prefer to think it's about writing. It's good to listen to when you've got writers block... Walk Away (Kelly Clarkson) Who Says You Can't Go Home? (Bon Jovi/Jennifer Nettles) Yay! K, I generally despise country music, but I actually like this song. And this is all...for now... |
