2nd Vermont Schedule
Come support us at an event, and see history in action!
May 4-6
Hammonassett State Park, Madison, CT.
We will be camping in the Civilian Camp at this event.  The Ladies of the 2nd Vermont will be setting up a Sanitary Commission Tent.
May 18-20
Henshaw Farm, Templeton, MA.
Saturday there will be an afternoon tea, with evening tours of the camps.  Also, there will be a dance on Saturday night.  There is Church service on Sunday as well as a period baseball game and a fashion show.  Another possible weekend that the Ladies will be setting up the Sanitary Commission tent.
May 26-28
Chatham Village Fair Grounds, Chatham, NY.
This is a Living History weekend with the help of the Chatham Village Historical Society.
May 31-June 2
Worcester Centrum, Worcester, MA
We are setting up at the Harley Davidson Convention at the Worcester Centrum, and this is an indoor exhibit.
June 8-10
Rochester, MA
There will be battles both days, Living History demonstrations, a period dance on Saturday night as well as a judged county fair. 
July 6-8
Fort Adams, Newport, RI
There will be a battle both days as well as a fashion show and a possible dance Saturday night.  Union troops will be camping outside of the fort, and Confederates will be camped inside.
August 10-12
Fort #4, Charlestown, NH
This is a Living History Association Timeline event.  There will be members of the LHA from several eras present.  Military tactics as well as weaponry, uniforms, and fashions will be represented.
August 17-19
Austerlitz, NY
Again, this is a Living History weekend with the help of the Austerlitz Historical Society and it is being run in conjunction with the 2nd Vermont.  More information on what is actually going on at this event later.
September 15-16
Oak Grove Farm, Millis, MA
There is the possibility of a dance on Saturday night as well as the set up of the Ladies Sanitary Commission tent.  More info to follow.
September 28-30
Turnbridge, VT
The 18th Regiment is holding a Living History Weekend to raise money for Vermont monuments on various battlefields.
Thus ends the listing of events for the 2nd Vermont.  For at least the moment.  We normally don't do events "spur of the moment," but stranger things have happened.  I will update the list if anything changes.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected].
