LDR stands for Long Distance RaceThe LDR Society is a group of teams dedicated to endurance racing with classic sportscars. Once every year a winter rally is conducted from Germany via Belgium and France to southern Spain. The rally is open to all sporty vehicles built before the oil-crisis (i.e. 1973). The race is a non-stop 2500km event in memory of the legendary events of the fifties and sixties like Liege-Sofia-Liege, Marathon de la Route, Mille Miglia, Carrera Panamericana and others.A night qualifying session over three hours is carried out every summer at different locations to select suitable teams. |
