| Through activities such as team ports, individual sports, rythmical activities, and outdoor experiences each student will be expected to: 1. Become reasonably competent in basic movement fundamentals and sport skills, 2. Understand the need for and the method of attaining and maintaining physical fitness, 3. Understand the need for desirable heath habits, 4. Develop life long skills and knowledge through sports, 5. Understand and display goods sportsmanship, 6. Improve his or her knowledge of game rules and basic skills, 7. Develop an awareness of the importance of team play/strategy 8. Understand and define field and court markings, 9. Experience the concept of teamwork in competitive situations, and 10. Understand nd apply more advanced movement and game strategies. |
