| We saw several stone church ruins in County Clare and the Burren. Some were noted in the guidebooks but many, including this one, were not. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Celtic Cross apparently marking burial tomb inside the church building. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This looks like it was the alter wall (back wall) of the church. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Below - It appears that at some point after the church fell into disuse that the inside of the former church building became used as a cemetary. There were more recent graves outside the ruin itself. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
